Breastfeeding baby dolls.......oh my!

I'll start by saying that Lily is such a little mommy.  She thinks that Knox is "her" baby and she always wants to take care of him.  She always sits with me while I nurse Knox and she will often point to my breast and say "eat".  We have noticed that she has started to stuff her babies under her shirt.  At first I thought that it was just a random act of a one year old but I'm starting to realize that she is "feeding" her babies.  I asked her the other night if her baby was hungry and she immediately said "yes" and stuffed it under her shirt. We finally caught her in the act. Yes, I know that my child is not the most photogenic but this is the best that we could get!! I guess that me being a breastfeeding advocate is rubbing off on her.

  1. Precious!Shortly after I had Jack I went to visit a friend. While I was BFing, her three year old came over with a baby doll and sat next to me, and we 'fed' our babies together. It was so stinking cute!

  3. Found your blog through Jo-Ann (she sent me a message about her club footed child and I saw she also sent you a message on your blog about yours). I have a 17 month old boy and am due (actually today is the due date) with another boy any day. We have had several ultrasounds - it has been an up and down emotional ride - and seems that the baby has bilateral clubfeet. We don't think there are any other issues but, of course, will find out when he's born. Hope you don't mind me following your blog. I hope that the doctor we have chosen to treat the baby will work out fine. However, your blog with the information on other doctors is very helpful.
